The area surrounding Andra Långgatan features a highly characteristic blend of residential complexes, public buildings and businesses of all stripes. The buildings in the area vary greatly in size and appearance. In fact, the area is the only one of its kind to be found in Göteborg. Andra Långgatan itself is located by the Järntorget square and the docks. The street is renowned for its antique shops, but several restaurants, cafés and smaller shops can also be found here. A nice market-hall is located nearby. You reach the recreation area, Slottsskogen, in a few minutes.

Electricity is included in the rent for the rooms.Note: It is very important that you make a moving-in notification, otherwise there might be no power in the apartment you move into.
Household wastes/recycling
Garbage and paper should be taken to the refuse chamber in the courtyard. Here there are containers for glass, paper and compostible waste.
Communal kitchen
Those sharing a communal kitchen are responsible for the day to day cleaning. Don’t forget to wash up the dishes and keep the stove clean. SGS Studentbostäder will clean the stairs, corridors and laundry.
Laundry
The laundry is in the court-yard.
Storage
All apartments and single rooms have access to storage. The storage room is located in the basement, which is accessed via a door from the courtyard.
TV
Tele2 is responsible for cable TV, phone 90 222.
